Grok3 Goes Live, It’s Great, But How Long Will It Last? Pika Labs Gets An App. New Suno Editing Tool

The AI News for February 18.

So Grok3 got its big release last night, and the report card says B+ Generally, it was very well received. It scored very well across a number of math, physics and coding benchmarks, and while it didn’t top the charts in everything, it did do very well in many areas. All in all, Grok3 comes in about where we expected an incremental improvement on most models, but not enough that anyone is suspecting it will hold on to the top spot for very long.

In fact, with GPT 4.5 said to be releasing very soon, it may only be on top for a matter of days. It does, however, score extra points for this beautiful rendition of Pacman that it managed to generate. In other news, Pika Labs announced the release of their new iOS app into the app stores.

This will allow users to quickly generate some very fun videos and effects on the fly. And our favourite AI music generation tool, Suno, got a whole new song editing ui. This shows the user the song broken down into the various chorus and verses and gives you easy access to a range of powerful editing tools.

Maybe it’s time to go and create ourselves a little theme tune.
