Lovable is a popular AI coding platform and today they have announced a major upgrade to Lovable 2.0 The update introduces collaboration with other users, enhanced security checks, a smarter chat agent, a more comprehensive dev mode, and the ability to make UI edits directly on the canvas.

Tools like this that look to simplify the entire process of building web apps are in their infancy and are still heavily limited in capability, but they offer an intriguing glimpse into the future of creating code. Yesterday OpenAI announced that they were opening up image generation capabilities via their API, and today these tools were already being integrated by, well, everyone.
