President Trump has signed an executive order to integrate AI education into K12 schools, aiming to prepare students for an AI driven future.

The Trump administration has been keen to push the US as the major player in Artificial Intelligence, and Donald Trump said, “we have trillions of dollars being invested in AI. AI is the way to the future.” The order proposes training for students and teachers in AI and aims to establish public private partnerships to assist in the effort.

Lovable is a popular AI coding platform and today they have announced a major upgrade to Lovable 2.0 The update introduces collaboration with other users, enhanced security checks, a smarter chat agent, a more comprehensive dev mode, and the ability to make UI edits directly on the canvas.

Tools like this that look to simplify the entire process of building web apps are in their infancy and are still heavily limited in capability, but they offer an intriguing glimpse into the future of creating code. Yesterday OpenAI announced that they were opening up image generation capabilities via their API, and today these tools were already being integrated by, well, everyone.

Krea was fast out of the gate and showed off how tightly integrated they’ve got the gpt-image-1 model into their tools already. The new ChatGPT tools allow users to edit images, combine assets together into a single scene, and create 2D renders from their fantastic new 3D modelling tool. Expect to see GPT image generation being built into hundreds of services in the coming weeks.

Perplexity announced that its app will be pre installed on all new Motorola phones and will be the default AI assistant for users. The partnership includes a three month Perplexity Pro subscription, giving users access to advanced AI models like GPT4o and Claude 3.5 Motorola might only have a 5% market share, but this is still an impressive achievement for Perplexity.
