There was a big ruling from the U.S. copyright Office when they stated that the use of artificial intelligence tools to assist in the creative process does not undermine the copyright of a work. Sam Altman and Kevin Weil apparently spent the morning presenting to the new Trump administration. According to Axios, they are also demoing new technology that will be released in Q1. I wonder what OpenAI was showing off and what they have in store. Yesterday Grok was seen to do some thinking and today it’s the turn of OpenAI’s GPT-4o model.
A new ‘Think’ button has shown up in the interface, leading to a lot of speculation about what’s coming. Also, there are many people suggesting that o3-mini will be released today. It may even be out by the time you watch this.
