Anthropic Adds Cloud Scheduled Tasks to Claude Code

Claude Code can now run tasks on a schedule in the cloud. Set a cron job to run at specific intervals, close your laptop and relax, knowing that Claude has it covered. Anthropic has added cloud-based scheduled tasks to Claude Code. You point it at one or more repositories, define a recurring schedule, give it a prompt, and it executes via cloud infrastructure - no local machine needed, no session to keep alive. The use cases write themselves. Overnight PR reviews, morning Slack summaries of changes to the codebase, automated bug scans. Tasks that developers currently either forget to do or spend the first hour of their day doing manually. Anthropic keeps pushing Claude's capabilities to work while you are doing other things, including sleeping. The gap between "coding assistant" and "autonomous developer" keeps closing.
