Claude Can Now Use Your Entire Computer

It's another day and another huge release for Claude. Anthropic have announced that Claude will now be able to fully use your computer. Open apps, navigate folders, fill in spreadsheets - anything you do sitting at your desk, it just does it for you. Anthropic has released computer use as a research preview in both Claude Cowork and Claude Code. On macOS, Claude sees your screen, moves the cursor, clicks buttons, types text, and navigates between applications. You describe what you want done and it handles the execution. Via Cowork there was already the ability to handle most browser tasks, but this opens up the whole computer to Claude's control. We talked about Grok Computer earlier this week, Musk confirming xAI's desktop agent was coming soon. Anthropic didn't announce it was coming soon - they just shipped it.
