Claude Design Is Here - Talk to Claude and Get Exportable Prototypes, Decks and Visual Deliverables

Anthropic has released Claude Design, a new feature that enables users to create visual content including prototypes, presentations, and one-pagers through natural language conversations. The tool is powered by Opus 4.7 and available in research preview for Pro, Max, Team, and Enterprise subscribers. Claude Design targets users who need to quickly transform ideas into visual formats without starting from traditional design tools. The workflow begins with a text prompt and allows refinement through conversation, inline comments, and direct edits. The system can analyse existing codebases and design files to automatically apply team design systems, maintaining consistency across projects. The tool's practical value lies in its export capabilities. Users can output finished work as PDFs, URLs, PowerPoint files, or send content directly to Canva. This creates a streamlined pipeline from initial concept to client-ready deliverable within a single platform conversation. This launch represents Anthropic's effort to address Claude's visual limitations. Whilst Claude has excelled at text and code generation, creating visual presentations typically required users to leave the platform. Claude Design eliminates this friction, keeping the entire workflow within Anthropic's ecosystem alongside recent releases including Opus 4.7, Routines, and a desktop redesign.
