TBC's Mischief 1 adds a neuron-research-derived layer to Wan 2.2, claiming 5x speed from half a cent a second.

  • 01. Built on Wan 2.2 with a small layer derived from neuron research
  • 02. From $0.005 a second, claimed 5x faster; on fal and OpenRouter
The Biological Computing Company has launched Mischief 1, an image-to-video model from four years of research on real brain cells grown on electrodes. The neurons stay in the lab; the findings become a small software layer on top of Wan 2.2, running on standard AI chips. The company claims it's five times faster than Wan at the same quality, from half a cent per second, without independent tests so far. On fal and OpenRouter now, with AWS Marketplace to follow.
