The claim is that you can go from idea to working app without leaving the platform. The infinite canvas is the big change. Most AI coding tools are still built around the text editor, a file tree on the left, code in the middle, output on the right. Replit is arguing that the framing is too narrow for what agents can now do and is expanding the workspace to something very different.
