Valve's Steam Frame is on sale: a standalone wireless VR headset with tracked controllers, a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, 16GB of memory, 2160x2160 LCDs per eye at up to 144Hz, inside-out tracking and a microSD slot. The 256GB model is $1,059 and the 1TB model $1,299, both including Half-Life: Alyx. As with the Steam Deck, it's a reservation lottery: sign up before September 17 for a shot at the first batch. The Meta Quest 3 is half the price.
