Anthropic just added computer use to Claude Code. From the command line, Claude can now open your apps, click through your UI, and visually test what it just built. It takes screenshots, controls your mouse and keyboard, and operates your desktop the way a human would. Available now as a research preview on Pro and Max plans.
Microsoft launched Critique inside M365 Copilot, a multi-model deep research system that runs GPT and Claude in sequence. GPT drafts the response, then Claude reviews it for accuracy and citation quality before anything reaches the user. Microsoft is openly running Anthropic's Claude as a quality check on OpenAI's GPT inside its own flagship product.
Manus added phone-as-remote to its desktop app. You can now start tasks, access files, and trigger workflows on your computer from your phone without touching the machine. Every major AI tool is racing to the same destination: your phone as a remote control for an agent that lives on your computer.
Mistral AI raised $830 million in debt financing to build its own Nvidia-powered data centre near Paris, housing nearly 14,000 GB300 GPUs. They've also committed $1.4 billion to build AI data centres in Sweden, targeting 200 megawatts of compute capacity across Europe by 2027.
