Each dot gets its own cloud-computer and access to your plugins and context, and it doesn't wait for a prompt. It comes with built-in rules on when to act and when to ask. You can reach it in ChatGPT, on a voice call, in Slack or in Teams, with texting coming soon, and it connects to more than 4,000 apps. For developers, a dot can triage bug reports, scope failing builds, then build and test fixes with Codex and bring back finished pull requests for review. You can open its cloud computer to inspect the work, or connect your own machine. Your first dot comes with Pro and Business Premium, so Free and Plus users miss out for now. GPT 6.1 Sol is OpenAI's pitch for near-Astra intelligence at a fifth of the price. It costs 2 dollars per million input tokens and 10 per million output - against Astra's 10 and 50. On the DeepSWE coding benchmark it ties Astra and beats GPT-6 Sol by 6.4 points - and on OSWorld computer use it scores 71.4 percent to Astra's 73.5. It's live now in the API, ChatGPT and Codex for paid plans. There's a twist, though: Decrypt reports OpenAI has cancelled October's GPT 6.1 Astra launch over safety concerns, after this summer's agent escapes. ChatGPT Space is a shared workspace where your team and AI work on the same projects. It's built around pages, a new kind of interactive document with charts, images, checklists and dashboards. ChatGPT can build a page from your conversation or the work you need doing, and teammates can edit it directly. You can tag ChatGPT, Codex or your dot to pick up action items and keep pages updated from connected sources. It's rolling out to Pro, Business and Enterprise plans on web and desktop, with collaborative slides that export to PowerPoint and Google Slides coming in the next few weeks. For developers, the Decisions API does one job, fast. Powered by GPT-6 Luna, it takes a question, a fixed set of allowed answers and some text or image context, and returns one of those answers for your app to use directly. That makes it ideal for classifying content, routing requests or picking an agent's next action. OpenAI's demo routes 10,000 customer requests at about 150 milliseconds each, against 1.6 seconds through the Responses API, roughly ten times faster.
